Don’t worry, you’re not alone.

While Facebook may not appear to be doing anything about this major problem, there’s something simple you can do to fix it.

Firstly, copy the link of the video you want to share.

Secondly, go to this Facebook link for developers to “debug” potentially screwed-up websites: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug

Thirdly, paste your link into that box and press Debug.

Fourthly, now go back to your normal Facebook page and paste your link!

And there’s your thumbnail! Easy huh?
