When new websites appear (and dissapear) I don’t usually bat an eyelid but I must admit I’m rather taken with this one. The website is called Greenobile.com and it’s dedicated to broadcasting only clean transport related content.

Perhaps it’s because it’s new, but the layout is so clean & organized that after one short visit I managed to get my EV fix for the rest of the day.

Granted, the site is new and therefore needs more content, but the selection of videos and photos so far is impressive and inspiring. Everything from home-converted electric cars to videos of the recent Frankfurt Auto Show are available to view.

It reminds me of Youtube, but without the clutter, hideous on-screen advertisments, and the embarassing comments from the army of “Keyboard Ninjas” out there.

It looks like I’ve found an Internet bastion. A refuge where like-minded people can go to spread the word on all kinds of renewable transport – and that’s a good thing.

There’s also a Blog Section full of short, interesting reviews loaded with photos (my preferred kind of review) and a Forum Area which is still in it’s infancy and needs some more content & excitement – I might post a scathing comment about the EV1 just to see what happens.

No no, I’m kidding.

I was so taken by the site I decided to upload all my electric vehicle conversion videos from my own conversion to help them out, though some would argue I’ll be bringing their site quality down a notch by doing so.
